Being more than a hundred years old, PMW is the world’s third oldest producer of magnesium compounds. It has an international profile and is supported by state-of-the-art infrastructure facilities, although located in a remote and arid desert at Kharagodha in Gujarat. Our factory produces more than 10,000 MT per annum. A large storage capacity ensures continuous supply even during inclement weather. A well equipped testing laboratory with qualified chemist ensures consistent, high quality magnesium chloride.

Sub soil brines are evaporated by solar energy in ponds and pumped to the plant where in its efforts to reduce emissions, PMW has now, with the help of Tata Energy Research Institute (TERI), converted its heat source to renewable bio-mass gasification, thereby cutting down green house gases by not using rapidly depleting fossil fuels.
